Beverly Hills Teeth Bonding
Using tooth-colored composite resin material, we are able to repair chipped or cracked teeth, improve discolored teeth, close spaces between teeth, make teeth appear longer, change the shape of teeth or protect the tooth’s root that has been exposed when gums recede.
Tooth Bonding Procedures
The basic procedure consists of Dr. Alfred Farrington roughening the surface of the teeth that will be bonded so the resin material can easily adhere to the tooth. Next, the tooth-colored resin is applied and molded into the desired shape. Once in place, the resin is hardened using ultraviolet light, before it is trimmed and polished to match the sheen of your teeth. Less tooth enamel is affected than if the patient has veneers or crowns put in place, and anesthesia is generally not required.
